Turner acquires Chloe’s Closet for Cartoonito

Turner Broadcasting has acquired the UK television and licensing and merchandising rights to Moonscoop preschool series, Chloe’s Closet. The series will debut on Turner’s preschool channel, Cartoonito, this summer.

The 2D animation from Mike Young Productions, produced in association with Moonscoop, Wales Creative IP Fund, KI.KA/ARD, Kids WorkOut Factory and Telegael, currently airs on France 5 and Playhouse Disney (France), PBS Kids Sprout (US), Mediaset (Italy), Channel One (Russia) and Germany (Ki.Ka). Other international broadcast platforms include ITV (UK), Disney Channel and Playhouse Disney (Spain), CBeebies (Latin America) and HOP Channel (Israel).

Licensees already on-board include Bandai America as the global master toy partner. Dragon d’Or Editions (Editis Group) has just been signed up to publish a set of small story books in France, joining other territory licensees Sun City (apparel), TM (back-to-school bags) and Evasion Communication (character costumes).
